Getting Started with Ebay

First, Just check out www.ebay.com to get started and open your first account. If you are already a member then this post is probably not for you. We will go into deeper detail in future articles. While setting up your account you may want to use your user ID to describe your business, for example: Chadssportscards for a Baseball card business that you are starting. If you are just getting started and have no rating it may be good to browse around and buy some stuff that you may be looking for anyways just to see how the process works and hopefully get some feedback from the seller to help your rating go up. If you try to sell and have a "0" rating
you willl probably not have much luck. When Buying Always be careful about the shipping price, sometimes these are jacked up just to cover more profit for the seller, this is a trick that is used quite often. So you may find a cell phone that you really like for only .01 so you say hmm why not bid on it, just in case no one else does. Then you look up and the seller wants $49 shipping and handling, which will probably make this deal not worth your while..
